Man Sues McDonald's for $10 Million

Interview with ABC Radio
August 12, 2007

ABC asked Philip K. Howard to comment on another frivolous lawsuit, in which a man is suing McDonald's for putting cheese on his hamburger. “If the plaintiff knew he had a death-threatening allergy to cheese,” Howard asks, “why didn't he safeguard himself against a potential allergic reaction instead of relying on fast food employees?" "The man is okay, so why is his family now suing for a whopping $10 million in damages?"
