CG Chair Philip K. Howard Speaks at NAPA

Location: Washington, DC

The National Academy of Public Administration held its fall meeting in Washington, DC, on November 22 and 23, and Common Good was invited to participate in the panel entitled "Homeland Security Act Proposals for Personnel and Management."

Philip K. Howard, our founder and chair, participated on the panel together with Steven J. Kelman, the Weatherhead Professor of Public Administration, JFK School of Government, Harvard University, and Colleen Kelley, the President of the National Treasury Employees Union. Mr. Kelman is also a member of the Common Good advisory board. The panel was moderated by Jonathan Breul, Director, Federal Management and Performance, IBM Business Consulting Services.
