Janet Corcoran
President

Before joining Common Good in 2006, Janet Corcoran was President of PENCIL, a non-profit organization dedicated to generating and coordinating civic support for the New York City public school system. Previously, Ms. Corcoran was Vice President of GE Capital Global Project Structured Finance, Senior Counsel and Vice President of the Financial Guaranty Insurance Company, and Deputy Chief of the Public Securities Law Division of The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She is a graduate of Radcliffe College and Boston College Law School, and holds a Master’s Degree from Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Paul J. Barringer III
General Counsel

Paul J. Barringer, head of Common Good's health court initiative, worked as a health care consultant with Accurium, a company he co-founded, prior to joining Common Good in 2005. He has also worked in private law practice at Smith Anderson LLP in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Hogan & Hartson in Washington, DC. He received a J.D. from the University of North Carolina, a Master’s Degree in public affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, and a B.A. from Davidson College.

Sara A. Berg
Senior Counsel

Sara A. Berg received a J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School and a B.S. in political science, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining Common Good, Sara was a corporate associate at Dorsey & Whitney LLP where she represented a variety of clients in securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, and venture financings.

Jenny Foreit
Senior Health Care Counsel

Dina Hasiotis
Director of Education Policy

Dina Hasiotis arrived at Common Good in 2006 with a background in teaching, education policy, and government consulting. Prior to becoming the Director of Education Policy, she was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and was a Teach For America corps member who taught middle school in New Orleans public schools. Dina also has worked as a field organizer on gubernatorial races in Massachusetts and Virginia. She is a graduate of Harvard College and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
