Medical Courts Could Ease US Malpractice Crisis, Group Says Jeanne Lenzer BMJ.com (British Medical Journal), February 19, 2005 This article discusses the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s
grant to Common Good and the Harvard School of Public Health to develop and
promote a model for special health courts, courts devoted exclusively to
resolving medical injury cases. The article describes the problems with
current malpractice system, and explains the benefits that health courts would
bring including: faster trials, more fairly compensated patients, and clarified
