New Health Courts Would Aid Injured Gregory D. Pawelski

A letter to the editor of the Lebanon Daily News
recommends Common Good’s proposal for special health courts as a solution to
the problems with our current medical justice system. Pointing to a new
report on health courts by the Progressive Policy Institute, the letter argues
that the current system “does not give most injured patients access to
justice.” Moreover, Common Good’s health court initiative has gained support
from more than eighty national leaders, all of whom recognize health courts as
a means of fixing medical justice.
