court initiative. Calling the current system “broken” and referring to
the loss of physicians and the inability of many Americans to access care, the
article notes that health courts are one of the top alternatives to the current
system. Health courts would offer faster claim resolution and improved
reliability, “tak[ing] the entire process of malpractice litigation out of the
court system and insert[ing] it into an arena designed solely to advocate for
patient safety and a predetermined standard of care.”
