Thornberry Bill Touts Health Courts Greg Cunningham

The Amarillo Globe-News reports that Representative
Mac Thornberry (R-TX) has introduced a bill that would initiate the development
of pilot health courts. Common Good is credited as a member of the two prong
coalition, along with the Harvard School of Public Health, that has asserted
“the push” for health courts. Thornberry believes health courts would bring
consistent judgments back to a system that is currently ineffective.
