Malpractice Courts Eyed by Doctors

Richmond Times Dispatch journalist Bill McKelway evaluates the newly introduced Fair and Reliable Medical Justice Act. The bill, which features Common Good’s proposal for specialized health courts, was created to address the “ballooning medical malpractice premiums” in states throughout the nation. McKelway quotes Common Good general counsel Paul Barringer, who calls the bill “a good start.”
