SB 1231 - Administrative Medical Liability System Demonstration Act
A bill introduced by several members of the Pennsylvania Senate would establish an administrative compensation system for medical liability cases. Senate Bill 1231 – the Administrative Medical Liability System Demonstration Act – would give a newly formed Administrative Medical Liability System Commission the authority to award grants to hospitals to participate in demonstration projects implementing administrative compensation systems for patient injuries.
